Data Retention Policy
How long Qbiqal holds different categories of data, and when it is automatically deleted — per DPDP Act 2023 §8(7).
Overview
Under Section 8(7) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we are required to erase personal data when the purpose of processing has been served and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business reasons. This policy documents our retention schedules.

Deletion Process
When you delete your account:
- Personal identifiers are anonymized or erased within 30 days.
- Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian law.
- Aggregate/de-identified analytics are retained indefinitely.
- You will receive a deletion confirmation email.
Automated Deletion
Expired OTP logs, session tokens, and execution outputs are automatically purged by scheduled jobs. AI execution outputs are permanently deleted after 30 days unless the user has exported them.
Requesting Early Deletion
You may request early deletion of your personal data under the DPDP Act §12. Email [email protected] with subject: DPDP Erasure Request, or WhatsApp +91 74392 87439. We will process the request within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
